Here at Prosperity Media we manage numerous social properties for clients and every once in a while you pick up on a good scam. Today was one of these days where we noticed a scam which we would like to share with our business partners and the general public. We noticed one clients business page which has a high volume of likes receive the following message (below) –

Page-Scam When you look at the Apps link it directs you to a 3rd party app page which aims to collect your personal data on the page. Another warning sign from this page is that “verify” has the incorrect spelling on the apps location. If you view the page which is sending the message it notes that “Notify” in the URL also has the wrong spelling and the account was created 3 hours ago.
